This is a small family run business and we
take pride in offering our two 3 and 4 star properties, which are
maintained and presented to a high standard, for romantic weekends, and relaxing and carefree holidays in
stunning locations.
Wensleydale has been mellowed over the
centuries by its agricultural background, giving lush pastures and dry
stone walls, and this with its many rivers, becks, and waterfalls makes
for wonderful scenery for both walkers and those who prefer to take it all
in from their cars.
Once the day is over there is marvellous
food and drink to be found in the village pubs and friendly restaurants.
There are many other attractions to be
found in the villages, including racing stables and gallops in Middleham,
agricultural museums, and craft attractions, Bolton Castle and Aysgarth
Falls are well worth a visit. Many villages have fairs and fetes during
the summer months. Wensleydale is also an excellent base for visiting
other places, such as the Lake District, York, and the east coast of
Yorkshire, amongst others. Children love the adventure parks
and working museums along with the recently reopened Wensleydale Railway.
