Facilities
- Welcome tea tray and breakfast hamper on arrival.
- Entrance hall with handy boot tray. Stairs leading to
apartment.
- Large double bedroom with built in wardrobe
complimented with pine furnishings consisting of bedside cabinets and
antique dressing table. There are also side reading lights, hairdryer
and trouser press. Duvets, pillows, crisp linen and
towels are provided.
- Bathroom with bath and shower, WC, shaving point and
heated towel rail.
- Lounge with two large windows set in feature natural
stone wall giving spectacular views along Walden Beck. Furnishings
include sofa, leather easy chair, pine bookcase, dresser and large coffee
table. Overhead lights and soft sidelights give the room a warm and cosy
ambiance. There is a colour TV with FreeSat, DVD and radio.
- Kitchen diner with cream shaker style units, again
with two large windows in a natural stone feature wall affording views
of the waterfall when the trees are not in leaf. There is tile effect
flooring, electric oven & hob, microwave oven, fridge with freezer
compartment and double unit, pine tile topped table and four chairs. The
kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and general kitchen utensils.
- Extensive selection of reading books. Ideal
for cosy winter evenings.
- Details of many local attractions and walks (many
directly from the front door).
- Babies cot available on request.
- Off road parking.
- Walden Beck and waterfall (part of the Turner Trail) with seating and packhorse
bridge all surround the Mill; the perfect place to relax with a cold
glass of wine after a days walking.
- Village pub serving good local food, family butchers,
general store and off licence/tea room, antiques and collectables shop,
pottery and art gallery. Fish & chip van visits Wednesday.
- Spring Bank Holiday May fair and Guy Fawkes Night
celebration on village green.
- A shopping service the day of arrival can be arranged (please phone in advance).
- No smoking policy.
- Not suitable for pets.
