Found in the beautiful unspoilt Wensleydale village of West Burton is a
converted water corn mill, set beside the mill pond and Cauldron Falls.
The mill pond provides opportunities for swimming. Numerous spectacular walks can be started from The Mill up onto the hills or following Walden Beck. The village of West Burton benefits from a cul-de-sac position and therefore does not suffer from through traffic. There is a pub offering good ale and food. The village shop is open 6 days a week and a butcher's shop is also to be found. The community is based around the village green, where there is also a small art gallery, and the well known Cat Pottery.
