   Facilities

  • Welcome tea tray and breakfast hamper on arrival.

  • Entrance lobby with handy boot tray.

  • Lounge furnished with comfy sofa and two armchairs, side tables and antique wash stand/desk. The floor is beech wood with rugs. There is a multi fuel burner (fuel included) and storage heater, colour TV with Sky Freeview, DVD and radio. Overhead lights and soft sidelights with county gingham curtains together with the use of warm colours give a cosy ambiance.

  • Kitchen diner has pine units and slate tiled floor, country style fan assisted oven & hob, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, washer dryer, pine and tiled topped table with four chairs. Fully equipped with cooking and general kitchen utensils.

  • Main bedroom is a double with pine and wicker furnishings consisting of an antique wardrobe, bedside cabinets with side reading lights, dressing table, chair and wicker storage unit. Hair dryer is provided.

  • Pillows, duvets, crisp linen and towels included.

  • Bedroom 2 is also a double room with built in wardrobe and pine furnishings consisting of a chest of drawers, stool, and bedside cabinets with side reading lights. Hair dryer provided.

  • Large bathroom with bath & shower, WC, shaving point and heated towel rail.

  •  Picnic basket and BBQ equipment.

  • Extensive selection of reading books and games. Ideal for cosy winters evenings.

  • Details of many local attractions and walks (many from the front door).

  • Off road parking.

  • Patio garden with table & seating for four people, wooden bench and built in BBQ.

  • Three pubs (one being The Drovers Arms in All Creatures Great & Small), restaurants, deli, village shop (open 7 days a week), florist, teashops, pottery and art gallery all found in the village.

  • Fish & chip van visits on Wednesday.

  • No smoking policy.

  • Not suitable for pets.

  • In winter, whenever possible we have the multi fuel burner lit for your arrival.

  • A shopping service the day of arrival can be arranged (please phone in advance).

  • Baby's cot available on request.
