 The Shippon is a converted barn,
in a quiet cul-de-sac, offering two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge
and kitchen diner, all having recently been refurbished. Private
parking is provided to the side of the property and there is a small
garden area with patio, benches, and built-in BBQ.
On entering the property there is a small lobby for boots and coats from which you enter the lounge. The lounge has electric storage heating as well as a coal burning stove. There is comfortable seating, TV & video, radio cassette and CD player and character pine furnishings. The beamed ceiling and sympathetic lighting add to the relaxing mood and character of the room. The kitchen diner is fully equipped with an electric country style cooker and hob, fridge, washer/dryer and microwave, complemented with a dining area of pine table and chairs. Stairs lead from the lounge to the first floor which has electric radiators throughout. The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table, all in pine and wicker, together with wrought iron fittings. From the windows there are splendid views over the picturesque village church and to the Dales beyond. The second bedroom also has a double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table, again in pine and wicker; and with similar views. Along the landing is the bathroom which provides a bath and shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and electric shaver point. As mentioned, the property has recently been refurbished using bright warm colours and soft furnishings to match. The downstairs flooring is of beech wood, with rugs in the lounge and flag tiles in the kitchen diner. Facilities:
