West Burton is a beautiful, unspoilt Wensleydale village within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There is a spectacular waterfall and millpond where our Mill apartment is found. The village benefits from a large village green and a cul-de-sac position and therefore does not have any through traffic.

The Fox and Hounds offers a variety of cask beers and good local home cooked food (large portions as many of our guests tell us). The general store (open 7 days a week) also sells newspapers and has an off licence and tearoom, DVD hire is also available. There is also a high-class family butchers, pottery, art gallery and antiques shop right on the village green.

The village is a walker's paradise as many walks can be started from here.

The magnificent Aysgarth Falls is only a mile or so away and from there walks to Wensley and Askrigg along the River Ure or across country to Bolton Castle are started.

A bus route also serves the village.
